My paintings reflect an emotional response to a memory, a life experience and nature’s every day events. I enjoy pushing boundaries and exploring new and different ways to create interesting textures diverse shapes and spontaneous calligraphy resulting in unique and compelling images inviting closer examination and personal interpretation. By daring to challenge the basic principles and elements of art, I am able to elicit divergent and visually thought provoking images. It is very much an intuitive and instinctual process.
