A behind-the-scenes video of GLENN HALL's life and painting by Matt Brown

There is a long Canadian tradition of artists off in remote cabins somewhere in the woods of this great nation creating sketches of their surroundings. For the most part, this is true for these panels. I see this as part of an ongoing tradition in Canada, like snowshoeing or beans on Saturday. By exploring the natural beauty of my personal environment I hope to also raise people’s awareness of the various threats of corporate interests to our natural resources. Eco-systems need to be protected not exploited for short term gain at incredible risk to our environment. One who truly understands this country with its moose and maple will protect it rather than destroy it. - Glenn Hall
