ARTIST STATEMENT:

Living in an era that is characterized by disposable objects has compelled me to create pieces that are more than ephemeral trinkets to be acquired and quickly forgotten. I want everything I create to someday reach the status of ‘heirloom'. My goal is to combine materials that have a high level of permanence with quality craftsmanship and classic design to create lasting objects to be cherished and admired for generations to come.

Each piece in “Shadows of Antiquity” is made from hand-pierced sterling silver sheet that has been oxidized and brushed to achieve a soft glowing finish.
